The Ancient Minerals brand has been the beloved solution to incorporate magnesium care into modern life for the past fifteen years. While the brand had a strong established content centric website powered through Wordpress; the continued curiosity that organic traffic generated and the increased popularity of purchase of these products under the Enviromedica name drove the desire for the Ancient Minerals brand and products to stand independently. The goal was to create a singular cohesive site experience on Shopify without sacrificing the integrity of organic content from Wordpress or purchasing power from Enviromedica.
Content without Compromise
The core objective for this replatform was to maintain the integrity of the organic content and steady flow of traffic that had been developed over years with the Wordpress site. Presented with a dedicated space that had to now function as both the primary path for content and purchase, the challenge became how to effectively communicate conversion influential content without interfering with the purchase flow. Our UX design team went beyond the standard blog appearance to create an engaging and interactive way for users to digest the most important brand content through movement, powerful imagery and variable components.

Subscription Centered Conversion
As their sister brand Enviromedica grew, conversion goals shifted from one time purchase to subscription centric. Ancient Minerals products were available for subscription purchase, but their potential was buried underneath the popularity of the products of the Enviromedica brand while they shared a singular site experience. An independent Ancient Minerals site, meant the space for these products to take center stage and allowed users to connect with the products they love on a recurring basis.
